Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Nudgeo (“we”, “us”) operates a SaaS that measures how Large Language Models cite brand content and helps customers improve those citations via Generative Engine Optimization. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: email, sign-in credentials (managed by Amazon Cognito; we never see your password), plan and billing status.
  • Workspace data: brands, prompts, domains, team members you invite, and the AI answers we record for you.
  • Usage data: measurement counts and allowance consumption used for plan limits and rate limiting.
  • Payment data: handled by Polar (card) or AWS Marketplace. We never receive card numbers; we store only the provider's customer and subscription ids and your plan.

3. How we use it

We use your data to provide the product (asking AI models your prompts and measuring the answers), apply plan limits, send transactional emails, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data. We do not use your workspace data to train our own models.

4. Third-party processors

  • Amazon Web Services: hosting, database, sign-in (Amazon Cognito), and transactional email (Amazon SES).
  • Polar: card payments and subscription management.
  • AWS Marketplace: payment processing and subscription management for Marketplace purchases.
  • Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, OpenRouter: AI model providers that receive the prompts you track. Your brand names and prompts are sent to these providers.
  • SerpApi: runs the brand-name searches we use to read Google AI Overviews.
  • Microsoft Clarity: product analytics and session replay (heatmaps, masked recordings) used to understand and improve how the dashboard is used. Recorded text is masked. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
  • Google Analytics 4: aggregate traffic analytics (page views, sessions, traffic sources) used to measure and improve our sites. IP addresses are handled per Google's policy. See the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Meta Platforms: advertising measurement and personalized advertising via the Meta pixel. Runs on this product as well as on nudgeo.com, because sign-up, quote requests and checkout complete here. Only where you have accepted advertising in the cookie banner. See the Meta Privacy Policy.

5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

  • Access & portability: request a JSON export of your workspace by contacting us.
  • Deletion: the workspace owner can delete the account from the account settings page. Deletion removes the workspace data and your sign-in account (Amazon Cognito), and removes members from the workspace. Records of refunds already issued (billing account id, date, amount, and the reason you gave) are kept, without a link to the deleted workspace, so a refund is not granted twice. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription: cancel a card subscription from the billing page, or an AWS Marketplace subscription in the AWS console, first.
  • Rectification: reset your password from the sign-in page; contact us to change your email address or other account details.
  • Opt-out of marketing: we only send transactional emails (sign-in, billing, trial and team notices). There is no marketing list.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and storage for sign-in (Amazon Cognito session) and UI preferences (language, theme). We also use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics 4, product- and traffic-analytics services, which set non-essential analytics cookies (Clarity: _clck, _clsk; Google Analytics: _ga, _ga_*); text in Clarity recordings is masked. Where required by law (the EEA, UK, and Switzerland) these analytics cookies are set only after you consent; elsewhere you can opt out via your browser settings.

We also use advertising cookies (Meta pixel: _fbp, _fbc) to measure ad performance and to serve advertising based on your interests. These are optional and are set only if you accept advertising in the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time, block cookies in your browser, or opt out at Meta ad preferences. We do not serve personalized advertising to children under 14, and we never use sensitive data for it.

7. Data retention

Active workspace data is retained for as long as your account exists. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days. Automated database backups may retain a copy for up to 35 days after deletion and then expire on their own.
